Memorial Day Cookout

We had a cookout on Monday before heading back to Milwaukee. My grandfather came over to visit, which was nice because we haven't see him in such a while. He looks great. I know my mom said he's keeping busy every since my grandmother's passing, but he is doing quite well. He really liked seeing the kids too. It had rained off and on so the grass was too wet to play at the "Nana park" so the kids played out front. Ethan took Emalie & Isaak for a ride in the tractor and then Emalie decided she was going to give it a try...she pedaled it all the way down to the next driveway! We couldn't believe it! It's so much heavier than the tryke that she just got last week. We were very proud of her. Ethan & Papaw went to hit some golf balls but it was too wet and the driving range was not open. I know Ethan was bummed, maybe Papaw will bring his clubs up when they come next week and go hit balls before the baby comes. We need to tell Papaw that there is a golf course right across the street from the hospital! How convienient (not sure if that is spelled right?!?)!
Looks like Ema needs a nap!
Nana enjoying some time with Papaw Peanut (as the kids call him)

It doesn't matter how long Ethan's legs get, he still rides his tractor.

Nana & Miss Emalie enjoying some snuggle time.

Papaw loves time he gets to spend with the grandkids (great-grandkids too)

Ethan is so good about taking Emalie & Isaak for rides in the trailer on the tractor.

Emmie making use of her time while it's Isaak's turn in the trailer

Emalie wants to give the tractor a try but daddie needs to fix her shoes first.

WOW! I can't believe her little legs can pedal that thing! GO EMMIE!
