Well Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! About 3 weeks later...
Our Christmas and New Year was about as much a blur as your glasses get on a hot & humid day! LITERALLY. We had did our presents to the kids in Milwaukee the weekend before Christmas then we left to go to Indy so that we could have Christmas with our family there. We stayed with my sister & DJ a couple nights and then with my parents the rest of the time to kind of split up the time. We didn't want to drive Papaw too crazy with the kids for 5 day's straight! We had such a wonderful time staying with Ammie & DJ because we see them when we are home but we don't get to spend too much time with them. With staying with them we got to spend some nice, quality time with them. We had a great time and enjoyed each other's company. The kids also loved visiting and playing together. Christmas was wonderful. We recieved many nice things from friends & family and mainly enjoyed each other's company. Afterall that is what the season is about. We are so greatful for such a wonderful family.
Emalie got to spend her 2nd night away from mommie & daddie. Lee, Lucas, & I headed back to Wisconsin to finish packing up the house and get the truck loaded for moving day. I had done needed to run in Indy on Tuesday so Lucas and I went and stayed with Aunt Ammie since DJ went to Wisconsin to help Lee load the truck. Lee's bestfriend John also went up...so they had a gun guy night out.
Not sure what happened to the font or why it's underlined...sometimes I swear the blogger has it's own mind...oh well...enjoy...
The guys arrived back in Indy in time to go to dinner for DJ's birthday. We enjoyed one last night of family time before heading south. We are very greatful for this opportunity we have been blessed with and are looking forward to wonderful new year filled with many new adventures!

We had alot of fun visiting with my grandmother, she had not seen Lucas yet and we hadn't seen her in forever! It was amazing seeing how many grandkids & great-grandkids she has now! It was nice being out there for Christmas but it is still weird without grandpa being there.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas & a Happy New Year!
