After much research and thinking Lee & I decided we were going to homeschool Ethan for a while. The schools around here are not good...to say the least. They are ranked 52nd out of 52! That includes Washington DC & Puerto Rico. SO...it's private school or homeschool! Right now we decided it's probably most financially feesable to homeschool...so we began on our new adventure of homeschooling.
It's going well! Ethan seems to like it, he gets done with his work fairly quickly and without too many problems. He's going to be doing a book study group at the library, a crafts and other projects group, Boy Scouts, & some fun things with a Homeschool group we are going to join. So I think he will keep busy and be learning alot!

Lucas LOVES watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in the mornings...Thank goodness for Disney!
He is starting his social studies unit with lesson's on the first flights and airplanes since this is his big fascination right now. We are going to be reading a mystery book about Kill Devil Hills while learning about the Wright Brothers and Kitty Hawk...when we are done we will be visiting the Outer Banks for a field trip so he can see all the places he learned and read about. Watch for those pictures closer to spring.
