What happened to November???

Ok, I know I am completely behind in blog posting; November was a HUGE month for us. Lucas turned 5 months old!!! He is doing so well...well he is now. When we were home over Halloween weekend he cried and cried and stopped eating all together. He hadn't been nursing as well before we left but I just thought it was a phase...hey we all go through spurts right? Well after Halloween night when he cried for like 3 hours we decided something had to be done. As Ammie & I talked about his symptoms (not eating, spitting up stomach acid, not sleeping more than a couple hours at a time, and extensive crying) she said that is exactly how Zowie was. We took him to the doctor when we returned to Milwaukee and she thought his might have acid reflux. She wasn't convinced (we had to see a doctor on call because our's was not there that day), but I was and am glad she gave us some medicine. Ammie said within 2 weeks you will see a drastic difference - well after week one he was eating on a normal schedule again...and after week 2 sleeping though the night!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Mommie got some sleep!!! Lee turned 40!!! We had already been to Indiana and are trying to save gas money and miles on our only car for now so we just stayed up here in Wisconsin and had a great family weekend. He took a few days off because he has to use up his time at work or he will loose it. We spent the day's relaxing and enjoying each other's company. We went to Maggiano's for dinner, which was very good (but the service was very lacking!), then on his actual birthday him & I cooked Shrimp Pasta (a recipe that only men are supposed to make by tradition), we really enjoyed cooking together and will definitely do it again soon! Below are some pictures highliting Halloween (which yes, it was warm enough for shorts here in Wisconsin), Lee's birthday, & the kids...

We're not sure where he gets that "grumpy-old-man-look" but it's so cute
