Birthday visitors...

We had a housefull as a surprise for Ethan's birthday. Our place here in Wisconsin is bigger than our house was in Indy but it's still only 3 bedrooms...so having 5 kids & 4 adults staying here was tight but very fun! Then throw in 2 grandparents and a partridge in a pear tree and we had an even better time. It was nice having everyone around!!! The kids all played together very well and Ethan was COMPLETELY surprised...which was nice because I've never pulled anything off like that! FUN!

Since Nana's birthday is 2 days before Ethan's we celebrated her birthday on Friday night. Ammie made this awesome dish her neighbors made for them one night...it's a veggie & pasta dish with sausage and a creamy sauce. I made mom's favorite...German Chocolate Cake. I also made "Boo cakes" since not everyone likes the coconut in the icing for the cake.
