This past weekend my parents brought Ethan up so that they could see Emalie & Lucas some since we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like. Saturday we decided to go down to Chicago since mom and I have been wanting to take Emalie to The American Girl Store (pic's to follow). We had taken Ethan to Lincoln park once when we were driving through and he's been wanting to take a picnic there ever since so we packed up the food and kids and headed to the park first. We had a nice picnic and then took a walk on the beach. The weather was perfect so it was a very nice day! Thank you Nana & Papaw for coming up to see us, we really enjoy seeing you since we don't get to see you so often anymore!

The only difference is that on Little House on the Prairie, the kids were running towards the camera, not away from it. But I see the similarities!
