SNOW!

Friday night after we had our ice cream party we all went to bed. When we woke up on Saturday morning it was a wintery wonderland. We knew it was coming...the weatherman said 5-7 inches. We probably had 4 inches when we got up...and it was snowing like crazy! We made some yummo blueberry pancakes and relaxed in our pj's/sweats for most of the day. It snowed...snowed some more...and kept snowing. The kids had enough by afternoon, so they bundled up and headed outside. Lee took them out in the back of our apartments and found a small hill they could sled down for a little while. It was getting really windy so it didn't take long for them to come in for some hot chocolate and marshmellows. Needless to say we had 7 or more inches when it was all done. Then it started blowing around which made things really cold and the roads bad.

This was our view Saturday morning. The plows had been through on the roads in our complex but they won't do anything else until it stops snowing. So getting the car out was tricky.

Lee went out with the kids and cleaned off the car enough to move it to the empty garage space.

It was kind of a boring weekend in Wisconsin. DJ & Ammie did take us to a new place we hadn't been yet though. We had some wonderful Italian food and good company. Come visit and we'll take you there!

On Sunday we did take the kids to a free showing of Toy Story at a local theatre in exchange for non-perishable food items. It was very fun and the kids loved it! Gotta love free activities!!!
