I can't believe it's been 5 years since I married my best friend & soul mate. When Lee asked me to marry him it was just like a dream. He had planned the whole thing out and it turned out perfectly! He was so romantic and had thought about every detail. We spent the next year planning our special day. It turned out perfectly! We had a wonderful ceremony with all our friends and family, a fantastically fun reception, and then a perfect, romantic honeymoon in Hawaii.
The past 5 years have brought up's and down's. Fortunately for me I still love spending every minute I am granted with him. He is still my best friend & soul mate. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband. In the 5 years since our wonderfully special day we have been blessed with 2 more beautiful babies and have had HUGE adventure's!
We visited Las Vegas for a conference with Lee's work, bringing home the best thing you can get on vacation...EMALIE! Lee took a (what we thought was a dream opportunity) job in Wilmington, NC...only to find out that is not exactly where things were going to work out for us. We moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where we thought we had crossed into the Artic Circle...fortunately we had DJ & Ammie there to help with the transition. Then they left us!!!!!!!!!! What were we to do???? Well first we welcomed our new bundle of joy, Lucas, into the world! Then we were completely busy and had a hard time keeping up with 3 kids! At the end of that year we found out we were being transferred to Florence, South Carolina! A DREAM COME TRUE!
We have learned a very large lesson in the last 5 years. We have turned our whole lives over to the Lord...we know that He will lead us to the places we are to be in this life. Our lives have been so much more relaxed since we decided to have complete faith in God and let him be the driver in our cars throughout life.
