Ethan joined Cub Scouts in August and has worked very hard on obtaining his Arrow of Light so that he may cross over to Boy Scouts with the other kids his age. Generally you would spend two years in Cub Scouts working towards your Arrow of Light but since he didn't join until this past year all the kids he had become friends with would be crossing over in February. So he worked very hard with the help of daddie and one of his buddies dad's (who is a leader) and completed each item he was required to and crossed over into Boy Scouts this past weekend. It was very special! We even got to share the experience with Ethan's papaw Dennis who came down for a visit before his photography business got into the busy season.
The Father-Son bake off was fun!
They made a (disgusting) Kitty Litter Cake (too real looking for mom!).
We are VERY proud of him!
Ethan was very glad his papaw got to be here to watch.
These are the times we wish we still lived near family.

Ethan participated in the cake eating contest too!

Officially "crossing over" into Boy Scouts.
The ceremony was really neat!
